East African Overseas was established in Selaqui, Dehradoon in Uttarakhand by R.K.Jain. The company, a part of East African Remedies, has developed a new state of art plant with manufacturing facilities for tablets, capsules, syrups, suspensions, dry syrups, powders, dispersible tablets, ointments and lotions. Besides, the company also has separate facilities for penicillin and non-penicillin products.

The company believes that human resource and quality are major pillars for strength to the company. It considers its customers and clients as the biggest asset and therefore serves them at its best. The company is dedicated towards quality and services. The company has therefore, developed manufacturing staff of highly dedicated, well qualified and experienced chemists to produce the best quality products. The company provides training to its employees periodically with special emphasis on compliance of GMP and SOP. The company's strategies are based on providing best quality services and products to its clients and customers. The company makes it a point to strongly monitor all aspects of material analysis, in process quality control, finished good quality control. To do so the company has also developed an independent quality assurance department which is well equipped with sophisticated analytical instruments and trained personnel to ensure high standards of quality from raw material to packing and finished products.

East African Overseas has a long way to go. The company is also planning expansions in terms of diversifying pharma marketing for new product and medicated cosmetics tie-ups. The company is planning tie-ups and new ventures in order to expand its operations. The company has ambitious plans to achieve a target of 100 crore turn over by next five year.
